INTERNATIONAL. Mondelez World Travel Retail (WTR) has been named as Innovation Partner for the upcoming Trinity Forum, set for 1-2 November in Singapore.
The confectionery powerhouse is a Platinum Partner of the event, and the exclusive partner for The Trinity Challenge, an initiative at inspiring creativity and innovation in the channel (see below).
As reported, The Trinity Forum – the world’s leading airport commercial revenues conference – makes a welcome in-person return this year with Changi Airport Group as host.
Registration is now open with early bird rates available until 31 July. The online registration site is accessible here: https://trinityforum.events.
The event, created by The Moodie Davitt Report in 2003 and now co-organized with Airports Council International (ACI) World and ACI Asia Pacific, has been suspended for the past two years due to the global pandemic. The Trinity Forum was last held in October-November 2019 in Doha, when it was memorably hosted by Qatar Airways Group.
The Trinity Challenge is back
The Trinity Challenge, first held in 2019, is a pan-industry project designed to encourage imaginative solutions to industry challenges. It aims to rekindle the pioneering mindset of the original Trinity White Paper. The winner will be announced during the Trinity Forum in Singapore. Click here for details of the 2019 edition.
More details on The Trinity Challenge, and how to submit an entry, will be announced in coming days.
“The original Trinity Challenge was inspired by a need to unlock the true potential of shoppers in travel retail; to drive the growth and prosperity of the channel,” commented Mondelez WTR Managing Director Jaya Singh.
“This was an initiative at uniting the industry through creativity, investment and action to develop new ideas, new concepts, and new ways of working. Much has changed since our first ‘challenge’ back in 2019, but what has not changed is the power of our partnerships — to sustain us through the difficulties, to inspire us to keep moving, and to propel us forward into a new future for travel retail.
“The industry is back and roaring, and as industry stakeholders, we have a responsibility to ensure that our channel delivers experiences that no other can,” Singh added.
“The Trinity Challenge can be an excellent platform for new ideas to be developed and heard by key decision-makers; to help us unlock new catalysts for conversion in an ever-evolving environment. As part of our enduring commitment to the industry, Mondelez World Travel Retail is delighted to once again lend our support to this initiative from the Moodie Davitt Report, and we are proud to become the official Innovation Partner of the Trinity Forum 2022.”
The event promises to deliver a provocative and challenging program about the big issues facing global travel retail, while also celebrating the industry’s encouraging revival as the pandemic eases.
Delegates will enjoy outstanding networking opportunities during the event. The Gala Dinner – a highlight of any Trinity Forum – will take place at the spectacular Jewel Changi Airport (Jewel) on 2 November. Hotel details will be released shortly.
